An outsider and

businessman

WITH A PLAN TO

SAVE CONNECTICUT

WHY I’M RUNNING

"The problems here are tremendous. We are going to bring a very big game from an outsider’s perspective and an entrepreneur’s mindset to solve them."

Watch our new commercial here!

David isn’t a career politician. He’s a businessman from outside this failed system. In the midst of the national economic meltdown of 2008, David launched his own business, Conatus Capital, a firm he started from a single desk. David grew Conatus into a multi-billion-dollar global investment firm headquartered right here in Connecticut.

David’s success comes from seeing opportunities where others could not, making tough decisions, and building great teams. That is what Connecticut needs now.

Taxes are going up, jobs are leaving the state, and people can’t afford to live here anymore. The politicians in Hartford know how to spend money — David knows how to make it.

A graduate of Yale College, with business and law degrees from Harvard University, David and his wife live in Fairfield County with their five children.

CONNECTICUT IS IN CRISIS

An Outsider and Businessman Can Fix it.

Attract and Keep Jobs Here - Create more opportunity by building upon Connecticut’s competitive advantages: our location, our schools and our skilled workers, and by slashing taxes and regulations
Reform the Broken Pension System - Renegotiate the state employee contract and bring public sector union benefits in line with those of private employees
Deliver Broad Based Tax Cuts - Eliminate special deals to provide broad tax cuts so people can afford to live here and employers can grow here again
Invest in Infrastructure - Develop public-private partnerships to attract billions of dollars of private capital to rebuild our roads, trains and airports
Balance the Budget - Enact a structurally sustainable budget that restores the confidence of our families and our businesses
Streamline Government - Modernize state government to reduce spending and cut waste
End the Death Tax - Eliminate the estate and gift taxes so retirees and wealth stay in Connecticut
